Conjunction Recordings celebrate their 10th release with a 10-track various artists LP, featuring six artists from across the roster. Dark and dirty sonics spanning the dual realms of dubstep and drum and bass are the foundation of the Conjunction Recordings sound. On this release, dancefloor-oriented cuts rooted in techstep and oldschool neurofunk are the order of the day.

J Centrik offers two atmospheric and energetic tunes. The Path Not Taken commences the LP with a haunting piano melody, syncopated breaks, and twisted-yet-melodic reese bass; conversely, Find You balances uplifting vocals and an animated bassline with furious, steppy drums.

Fade Away and It’s Time are two heavyweight tunes straddling the boundary of jungle and techstep, both courtesy of Ascension. The former track combines crunchy breaks and thunderous subs whilst the latter incorporates dystopian leads, fluid basslines, and shuffling percussion.

Carnagous contributes two further tracks. Trojan Horse pairs layered amens with chromatic melodies spread over stabs and reeses, whilst Pillage places a raw bass drone and weighty, stuttering snares at the forefront of the tune.

Konnect provides one original track and one tune remixed by Conrad Subs. Dystopian Summer is a full-on piece of tearout minimal dominated by moody atmospheres, pulsating bass stabs, and rapid percussion. The Conrad Subs remix Six Foot Deep is a lethal blend of ragga vocals, stuttering breaks, and contrapuntal basslines.

Last but not least, label boss Catalyst.AD completes the release with Nose Bone Funk, an acidic and forward-thinking take on the ‘00s neurofunk sound, and Reflections Of Ten, an ethereal track taking influence from ‘90s techstep and intelligent drum and bass.
